UQ Med Lite
UQ’s School of Medicine is Australia’s Global Medical School, offering a variety of well organised clinical training opportunities within Australia & internationally. This app is designed for students at the UQ School of Medicine.

HCSMANZ
HCSMANZ is a group of interested professionals working in the health sphere in Australia and New Zealand, who have commenced a weekly discussion group on Twitter looking at the issues of social media use in health care. The hash-tag #hcsmanz is used to view the conversation. At other times the hash-tag is used to identify material that may be interesting to those in the discussion group.

This app serves to keep people informed of what is taking place in these discussions and some further resources.

An Apple iOS version and Android Version are currently available.  Development of a Windows 7 version is currently in progress.


OzHealth News
Australian Health News is an app which aims to keep you up to date on the Australian Healthcare environment. It has been designed in mind to suit a large audience from general members of the public through to doctors.

This is a news headline app, with inbuilt commenting and favouriting features, so that you can share your favourite stories with your friends & colleagues. News is primarily from local Australian sources with a few internationals contributing to the headlines.


To Viewers
  • Don't like how the news sources are ordered?
    Simply go to more, click edit in the top right and drag your favourite news sources down to the taskbar. They can also be dragged along the taskbar so you favourite appears when you load the app.
  • Feel like there is a classic Australian Health News outlet that is missing from this app?
    Send an email to ozhealth@ivline.info and it might make future updates. The source can be traditional media, a website, a blog or even podcasts.

#RuralMH Chat
Rural Mental Health or (#RuralMH) is a social media initiative aimed at raising awareness of mental health issues in rural Australia. Talking fortnightly on Twitter between 7:30pm - 9:00pm AEST.

The chat seeks to act as conduit for ideas, questions and interests for rural people about mental health issues.

This app serves to keep people informed of what is taking place in these discussions and some further resources.

An early Android Version is available.


HCSMGlobal
HCSM means Health Care Social Media. Once a week people from many countries or regions join their local HCSM conversation, this app serves as a platform for bringing all of the HCSM community together.

An active internet connection is required.
